These are the official mascots to be used for the the 25th SEA Games in Laos or " Vientiane Games 2009 ". Two white elephants which symbolized Laos once "the kingdom of million elephants" were chosen as it is believed they bring good fortune and prosperity. The names of the elephants Mr. Champee and Ms. Champa represent the national flower of Laos.
